Cliingo began with a simple observation: traditional dining sets are fixed, bulky, and inefficient to store in the limited space of modern kitchens and packs. The answer is a modular magnetic system made from Ti-5Cu upgraded titanium alloy that stacks plates, bowls, and cutlery into a single compact circular unit that stays locked during transport and separates in roughly one second when pulled apart. The magnetic staggered structure aligns pieces for secure storage while enabling the one-second quick access that makes the set practical in daily use rather than just tidy in the cupboard. The fork and spoon combine to form tongs for food grabbing, adding versatility beyond standard cutlery. Four dopamine-inspired colors — white, green, red, and orange— are integrated into the magnetic locking system so each person’s pieces are easily identified and shared without mix-ups during group meals. Ti-5Cu titanium alloy was chosen for its balance of lightness, hardness, wear resistance, and antibacterial properties; it is food-contact safe, resists odor retention, and cleans with a quick rinse or wipe, making it equally suited to a picnic table and a camping stove. The design went through multiple rounds of prototyping and factory testing to refine magnetic strength and structural fit for real daily use, not just as a concept, and the result is a portable, organized, and color-coded system for indoor and outdoor dining.
