The next-gen craft knife with one-press blade changes — paired with an all-in-one case that unfolds into a workspace for evolved makers
HOZO Hobby Knife is a craft knife that rethinks the decades-old hobby-knife formula around simpler, safer handling. Instead of a twist-lock that’s always too loose or too tight, a one-press mechanism secures the blade directly— press to loosen the collet, swap, and release, with two internal magnets catching the blade the moment it lets go so it never slips away. The blade lineup spans quenched 420 stainless-steel flat blades plus a V-gouge and U-gouge for carving, and a saw and metal file for tougher materials, and the knife also works with common 4mm 30° flat blades and standard 9mm snap-off segments so you’re not locked into one system. The all-in-one case does double duty as a workspace: packed up it keeps tools organized, and it unfolds through four modes into a stand and a built-in cutting mat that doubles your cutting surface, with a swappable magnetic knife pouch and mat for a fresh look. For deeper cuts, the same blades and gouges can switch to the NeoBlade ultrasonic cutter for 40,000 vibrations per second.
