The Turnula is a cooking spatula designed around a sideways-approach motion, rethinking how a spatula gets underneath food. Traditional spatulas approach food from the front of the head, which forces the arm into an awkward angled position just to slide the tool under the food, and can even push food away rather than lift it. The Turnula inverts this approach: every part of the design — the low entry angle, the lateral sweep, and the surrounding side walls — is built around a sideways motion, so the user slides the spatula under food from the side, the way one turns a page. This side-entry geometry requires less arm lifting and angling, making the flip, sauté, and serve motions feel more natural and ergonomic. The design is a response to the accumulated habits that conventional spatulas force on cooks — workarounds learned to compensate for a tool that approaches from the wrong direction. This campaign returns with new colors, building on a prior launch that over 60,000 home cooks adopted.
