The TerraMow X AWD is the brand’s most capable robot mower yet, built on feedback from its first-generation S series and aimed squarely at the lawns ordinary robot mowers struggle with — larger areas, steeper slopes, uneven terrain, and complex layouts. Billed as the world’s first turn-free, all-wheel-drive AI robot mower, it retains TerraMow’s wire-free setup and vision-first intelligence while layering in significant new capability. At its core is a six-camera 3D AI vision system: TerraVision™ 2.0 fuses AI semantic perception with 3D visual sensing to recognize common yard objects and adjust its path in real time, leading navigation under trees and along walls, while nRTK Assist adds centimeter-level accuracy in open areas. Its defining innovation is Shuttle Drive™ turn-free mowing, which cuts both forward and backward to keep each pass continuous and minimize turnarounds, paired with Ackermann steering that replaces harsh in-place pivots with smooth, natural turns to reduce scuffing, soil compaction, and visible track marks. Cutting power comes from three motors and a 20-inch deck — using straight blades for overgrown grass and razor blades for fine, clean cuts — with a deck that adapts to uneven ground and edge-following within ±6 inches for a closer finish. Independent 42V all-wheel drive sends power to each wheel for grip on slopes, roots, and ruts, supported by dual suspension and up to 2.76 inches of clearance for steady movement over rough yards. A modular design makes the battery pack, cutting deck, and wheel-drive assemblies easy to access and replace with standard tools, while open-source files and GitHub-hosted protocols invite DIY expansion alongside official add-ons like extended batteries and an edge trimmer. Smart control is handled through an app supporting up to 250 zones — each with its own schedule, cutting height, and pattern — with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G connectivity, live front and rear camera feeds, GPS tracking, geo-fencing, lift alerts, and PIN protection, all while operating under 62 dB(A) with IPX6 water resistance and running up to 3 hours per charge (or 6 with expansion batteries) with a 90-minute fast recharge.
