VAULT Basecamp: Fully Modular Hard-Shell Vault for EDC Gear

A hard-shell EDC system with a Modular Gear Page, ShapeSpace Divider, SafeSlot Insert, and expandable storage for every kind of loadout

VAULT Basecamp takes the organizing principle behind the VAULT ecosystem—gear should be easy to see, easy to organize, and easy to carry—and houses it inside a structured, expandable hard-shell case. The shell is built from molded EVA wrapped in water-resistant 300D fabric with durable hardware, lock-compatible zipper holes, and practical exterior pockets, giving a loadout of knives, lights, tools, tech kits, and precision gear a layer of protection against pressure, bumps, and messy storage that soft pouches cannot match. Inside, three modular systems work together: Modular Gear Pages let the user build visible, removable loadouts organized by category, purpose, or mission and swap them when the setup changes; ShapeSpace Divider uses repositionable strips to carve out custom-fit compartments for bulkier or irregular gear like tech kits, chargers, camera accessories, and emergency items; and SafeSlot Inserts give individual tools their own separated, padded slots to reduce rubbing, scratches, and bumps. The capacity expands from 13L to 18L as the loadout grows, and a Workbench Tray presses onto the back of the case to create an instant stable surface for maintenance—knife care, flashlight battery swaps, tiny screws and bits, cleaning and lubrication—with no rolling parts off a table. A shoulder strap and top handle turn the entire base into a grab-and-go system from shelf to vehicle, home to workshop, or gear station to campsite. For existing VAULT users, Basecamp accepts Modular Gear Pages from VAULT 1.0 through VAULT 3.0, MiniLite, FlexPro, and other models; for new users, it serves as the entry point to a growing modular system with add-ons including a Roll-Up Tech Organizer and Folding Soft Tray.
